Themed on red sea bream, Medetai Train (“tai” means red sea bream in Japanese) was introduced as part of a Kada Line project to promote the railway, which operates in an area where fishing is a major industry. Red sea bream is one of the main products in the area. With a pattern of fish scales drawn on its pink body, the train also includes upholstery and fixtures with a variety of designs in the motif of the fish. It began operating from April 29.
