theprez
Hello all, my bad, i should have researched much better before to decide to move to Tomix tracks, I did not realize all the turnouts are all full power routing, I can not power dead end segments of the layout so without a no-power-routing option i have to mix again with Kato o Fleischmann tracks. Is there any way to force Tomix turnouts to power all rails? Any wiring diagram around to give it a try? Thanks in advance Link to comment
kvp
You can open it up and bridge the contacts inside like you would have to do on Kato #6 turnouts or just feed each track behind the turnouts like you would do with Peco tracks. One feed point at the middle of each track should work. ps: On the other hand, you can wire reverse loops more easily and even cut turnouts without shorts. Link to comment
theprez
Ok, I did it. I usually do a mess when soldering but it was a success on 3 different types of turnouts. Link to comment
