Oz_Paul
After much deliberation I am converting my existing layout to DCC with a Digitrax Super chief. Plans include block detection, signalling and computer control. I found this presentation on Wiring for DCC which seems quite informative. Link to comment
Ochanomizu
Hello, I also use Digitrax Super Chief. You will find it successful. Please consider the Nemo Junction case study on the Digitrax website. Also, there are two threads on this forum that I found very useful: Precise Slow Speed Station Stops - Automation ... and ... Automation with Transponding Focus Good luck and have fun. 1 Link to comment
Oz_Paul
My layout uses Tomix fine track including turnouts. I was planning to order the Digitrax DS64 stationary decoders but was not sure if they will work. Any experiences to share? http://www.digitrax.com/products/stationary-decoders/ds64/ An alternative recommended was from DCC Specialities which is a lot more expensive. https://tonystrains.com/product/dcc-specialties-jack-wabbit-w-loconet-for-high-voltage-snap-coil-switch-machines/ Might start a new thread.
