bill937ca
I was scrolling through a blog when I came across a unique set of photos of Himi Line Fushiki Station freight yard. This seems to be a graveyard for old blue WAMU, blue WAMU bodies, WAMU wheels, the hulk of old Manyosen tram 7062 and two other trams. http://finecraft-ekicho.blogspot.ca/2015/12/1035.html http://finecraft-ekicho.blogspot.ca/2015/12/1034.html 3 Link to comment
cteno4
thanks bill, interesting boneyard to model! i can see this as a great use for all the scrap tomytec parts! i should have ordered a few extra of the WAMU bodies when they were on sale last year at HLJ! but being re-released soon and i can use the wheel sets on the tomytec, so that saves a couple bucks a car there! jeff 1 Link to comment
Densha
I wonder of what type the diesel shunters are. I couldn't find any information on them in the photos or the blog post. Link to comment

Nick_Burman
I wonder of what type the diesel shunters are. I couldn't find any information on them in the photos or the blog post. They look like standard Hitachi industrial shunters. Cheers NB Link to comment

Das Steinkopf
They do tend to turn up in some rather interesting places, predominantly in freight yards or former freight yards, I know there is at least a dozen or so sprinkled around in various sidings at Ajikawaguchi freight terminal in Osaka, I have a picture of one in the background that I took from the train as I was headed to Universal Studios, the paint had faded a fair bit. I recently found some WAMU 80000 bodies at a former yard in Hekinan near the cement works, there are a couple of redundant containers there that are used for storage, speaking of containers I found an interesting example of them being used for storage space at a small locomotive depot attached to a freight yard in Handa. Also if you wander around in streetview, from the road on the other side of the yard there is a fleeting image of what could have been a pink EF81being scrapped. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@36.7930234,137.0600606,3a,75y,143.09h,86.54t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sGKrzlZWOdkDZ5dm1XjWmHA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656te https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@36.7923996,137.0607314,3a,90y,297.63h,88.66t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s4d0oHXp18qV1Z0RmOimXBw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 Edited December 17, 2017 by yakumo381 Link to comment
