marknewton
I bought this model a while ago from keitaro, and I finally got around to applying the detail parts and numbers yesterday. I also filled in the big opening in the front headstock with styrene and fitted an Imon knuckle coupler. The long handrails on the walkway are a bit wonky, they need to be straightened out, but otherwise I'm very pleased with the locos appearance. Performance seems okay, I haven't had a chance to run it with a train yet. But when running light engine on the Kitchenbenchbahn the loco is silky smooth and quiet. Cheers, Mark. 5 Link to comment
bnicolas1987
Cool, I hesitate to take a full set motorised with snow plow, but I tought it was too early as I don't have a layout yet... Link to comment
marknewton
I was tempted to get the snowplough as well, but decided not too. I already have a pair of ploughs that go with the DD16, as well as a Ki100. I learned that the DD14s were used as yard engines and on local trip workings during the summer months, so that's how I'll use this one. Cheers, Mark. Link to comment
