cteno4
This is a great little vise to hold odder shaped opbject or more delicate things where you don't want the total vise like grip on something! Long jaws make it nice for holding larger flat objects on their edge lie printed circuit boards. It has an L shaped bottom that you can clamp to the bench top with a spring clamp or clamp it in a bench vise mounted on your work bench. Swivel head allows it to easily adjust to how you want to orient your work and the L base allows a lot of ways to use the vise on the bench top. Made out of hi impact plastic mostly that allows a little give on the jaws for a softer hold. The vise guides, mtreaded stock, fittings and swivel are al metal and seem well, machined. The tightening wing nut also has a little knob on it for fast twirling to move the jaws longer distances faster, nice touch. At $8 (at Amazon, also on ebay and elsewhere) it's a very handy tool for any Modelers workbench! http://www.amazon.com/PanaVise-207-Vise-Buddy-Jr/dp/B00944XM4O?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01 Cheers Jeff 2 Link to comment
