Amtrak train strikes backhoe

An Amtrak train running from New York to Georgia struck a maintaince backhoe on the tracks near philly early Sunday. Two killed (Amtrak backhoe operator and a supervisor).

Bummer they were letting folks view it but I guess you now need to make the free account in order to look at the few they let you look at for free every week.

 

Sounded like it may have been a MOW backhoe (one with rail wheels) on the active track.
