Sacto1985
A YouTube member filmed this unusual zenmen tenbou video of a trip on the Tokyo-Wan Ferry from Kanaya Port to Kurihama Port across Tokyo Bay: Note that you can buy a ticket at Kanaya Port that not only gets you onto the Ferry, but also the short bus ride from Kurihama Port to Keikyu-Kurihama Station and ride the train from there. 2 Link to comment
miyakoji
Very zen :). I used to take a few ferries in the Seto Sea, it was always a nice change of pace. Like with train journeys, I would have liked a longer ride. And a bento Link to comment
bikkuri bahn
I've done that twice or three times- mainly to ride the "suka iro" 113 series back when they were running on Boso. It was a nice little walk from the port to the wooden JR station to catch the train, opposite the station is an elementary school- would have been nice to have been a student there, with all the nature, sea nearby, and 113 series to look out for while idling away the class hours...
