Matteo_IT
Helo guys! I'm workink on my Kato Cassiopeia... I started wth one coach: added the lighting and painted beds and seats. Nice job. Light is solded as the contact stripes didn't work well... Now, the problem is how to place the stickers (I suppose are stickers!)... Some suggestion? Can somebody translate the instruction please? I don't understand why Kato and Tomix write only in japanese although their models are sold worldwide... boh! Many thanks! Link to comment
stevenh
You get 3 of each CarNumber+Direction (To Ueno or To Sapporo)+Language. Where one line on that sticker sheet is: [2]Ueno(Kanji) (x3) [2]Sapporo(Kanji) (x3) and then the english versions. So, depending on which car your adding it to, choose the number. Then depending on your layout, choose the final destination. Then, do you want Kanji or English? :) Edited March 11, 2016 by stevenh Link to comment
Matteo_IT
Hi, Ok for the laguage, but... how I can put in place? are self adhesive, not decals or transfers, so it's very hard to work... Link to comment
Kamome
They do take a while to position but they stick in the destination windows at the end of the car. The advantage of this is you get lit up destination boards. You need a sharp scalpel to cut out your destination choice for the appropriate car number and then I use a toothpick to make sure the corners of the sticker sit into the corners of the body shell properly. It does take time but is well worth not rushing it. I have ordered the new LED kits for the E26 cars myself. I've never been hugely impressed with the previous filament bulb versions, especially as I only use DC. Very dim lighting unless you crank up the power. Hoping they fit securely as the old ones have screws to hold them in place. Link to comment
