Kato engine house stickers

So I'm assembling one of these and want to have some idea what the side of it says. Through looking up the Kanji I was able to make a new 'name' to put on the outside in the bigger characters - 大機関車区 ('large locomotive district'). Does this make sense grammatically/logically in Japanese? I was thinking of using 田 at the end but I think the connotation is different. 

 

Any ideas?
