bikkuri bahn Posted March 1, 2016 Share Posted March 1, 2016 (edited) Good thing about this site are the color pictures, many of the older types you typically only see in b/w pics. Just a quick peruse has turned up some gems, such as street running in Nara on the Kintetsu Line. *another look and you can see as late as 1969 there were still many prewar types running on Kansai area railways. Many of the Kanto railways were already well into standardizing on postwar types. Of course now those postwar types are the ones contemporary fans wax nostalgic about.
