History on this Tomix set?

Hi,

EDIT 100 SET, THIS IS A 100 BULLET, MY TYPO !!

I won this Tomix 200  Bullet set the other day on Ebay. The set was almost perfect, there are no marks or damage what so ever, and only need a spot of general maintenance to get it 100% perfect. The power car now runs beautifully and the whole set is very much a 'keeper'.

The box however, is not something I'm familiar with from Tomix. I did try and fit into a standard Tomix sleeve, but is a fraction too big. To 'pep' it up a bit, I printed off a pic of a 200 and slipped it under the window.

Can anybody tell me how old this set is or what the box is? The model has Tomix cast into the chassis.

Thanks,

Rob.

The box is a 3rd party product (the now non existent Win Corporation), with a picture of the train the box contains added. Nothing special about it really.

The picture is printed by Rob san ~

By the way, I think you got the wrong picture, the Tomix 200 series is the one with the green band:

Shinkansen_S200_H4_Yamabiko_56_Tokyo_200

It looks like an older version of the Tomix 200-2000 series:  http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10009653

The case looks very much like a Casco made, but maybe Toni san is right ~

How many cars are there in the set?

Sorry guys, I made a mistake, the set is indeed a 100 !!

I knew that, I just had a brain 'flip out'!!

I bought it as I didn't have a 100.

I already own a green 200-2000 :)

I added the picture as the box is very plain, the picture is a 100 :)

The fact that the box is not a Tomix explains why the set does not fit 100% perfectly.

Can Tomix boxes be bought like Kato?

This 100 set is a six car. (so is my 200-2000)
