I could have sworn i posted about him last december when profit of the way posted it on yahoo jtrains, but cant find the post! might have been bright shiny object syndrome here...

Hisashi Fukushima is an autistic artist. His condition makes

social interactions with others at times difficult. But God
has gifted him photographic memory and better yet, the talent
of accurately rendering the memorized scenes onto canvas.

He is a good artist in the sense that he draws our attention
to details and angles where we do not expect to find beauty in.

Wow... this post is a cool one.. I think this man could be a national treasure.. and might have some of his artworks being displayed inside trains..

We used one of the paintings as a Facebook page cover photo on Japanese Trains, with a link to the RocketNews story from a couple of years back.
