Guest bill937ca
You Tube coverage of a N gauge layout. A nice layout, but Shinkansen just look better on wider radius curves. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2TlkSsNTPQ The modeler is in Taiwan by the way. ;) Link to comment
Bernard
That really is a beautiful layout, his track is very straight. I always like to see an overview of a layout just to get an idea of how large it is. You're right Bill, those are some tight curves, I wonder what radius he used? Link to comment
Guest bill937ca
There are a couple of makers of model trains in Taiwan by the way. I have never investigated purchasing these trains so I really don't know if it is do-able. http://www.touch-rail.com.tw/ Kibu makes a train set powered with a locomotive with a Tomix drive and a set of coaches. http://www.wretch.cc/blog/kibu (Chinese language) More info on Taiwanese railways. http://www.xs4all.nl/~raicho/model/taiwan.html Some locomotives in Taiwan resemble American locos so there is a prototype of sorts for those who want to run US and Japanese/Taiwanese trains.
