serotta1972
Hey! Like it, Serotta! Your Nekomori temporary layout is my inspiration - once I acquire more table real estate, I will put together all my different layout elements. :) 3 Link to comment
serotta1972
I spent a good hour painting the resistors white on my double catenaries. I thought I'd show case my awesome detailing work. :) I didn't do a good job capturing the white resistors on the pictures but it sure does look good. Got lots more to paint. 8 Link to comment

serotta1972
Man, this modeling stuff is hard work. I just painted another batch of catenaries. I'm working on the single catenaries. 6 Link to comment

Kiha66
Wow, nice work! The string drying rack is a great idea. Hope you have some good music and front view videos to pass the time while you paint! Link to comment
serotta1972
Instead of running trains - I decided to paint the resistors on my catenaries. I'm pretty darn proud of myself and I actually enjoyed it. Got lots more to do - at least a couple of evenings worth. Edited July 10, 2017 by serotta1972 9 Link to comment

serotta1972
My only dilemma is that it takes away from my train operating time. 3 Link to comment

serotta1972
Reverting back to my first love - running trains! These trains are so elegant looking and a nice departure from stainless steel contemporary trains. 6 Link to comment
serotta1972
My first running session since returning from the land of trains, bento boxes and so much more. :) Newly acquired and trains ridden while in Japan. I used to just get the basic 6-8 car set but for whatever reason, I wanted the whole train this time around so I went and got the 6 car add on for the W7, also the add ons for the E231 to make the 11 car set and the full 16 car N700A Shinkansen. My baby girl approves, all is good! 10 1 Link to comment

IST
Full length 11 cars E231 is the best (for me - memories). 2 Link to comment
Kiha66
Nice haul Junior! Its hard to appreciate the size of a full 16 car shinkansen, even in N scale, till you try to fit it in onto a normal sized circle of unitrack! We'll have to have a bay area JNS members shinkansen line up one of these days. 1 Link to comment
