bc6
I guess I'll be running dual trains on my Kato Double track set so I wonder if there are benefits to getting a dual cab power pack or not. Which brand of power pack would you recommend, its been a llong time since I purchased one. Link to comment
Guest ___
I started using my old Tech I Locomotion 2500 because I loved the momentum and brake controls it had. But my layout really had no need for that much power, and to simplify my intergration in to the the Kato switches and 3-color signals, I went with the standard Kato power pack. I really do like it, thoguh TOMIX has some pretty nice controllers that resemble an actual train controller that I'd love to go with. Link to comment
scott
My experience is pretty limited, so add salt, but we're using three MRC Tech 4 260s. I was going to get the Kato controllers, since they fit so easily with all the Kato accessories, but I wanted to have the momentum control. Link to comment

EWS60008
I currently use a Lima 12v controller which seems to work fine with my Japanese N gauge trains but I will soon be replacing it with a dedicated Kato controller that uses the supplied leads and jacks, as I use jump leads (cables with croc pins) to connect my controller to the track at present .
