Sacto1985 Posted January 3, 2016 Share Posted January 3, 2016 YouTube member nimo5 just posted an excellent video of a montage of scenes from Tokyo over the New Year's Day holiday period, with a lot of scenes of trains in the area: Note that New Year's Eve is probably (I believe) the ONLY time in Tokyo JR East, private commuter lines, and the two Tokyo area subway lines run throughout the entire night, due to the need to accommodate many people who visit religious shrines in the middle of the night. 4 Link to comment
