railsquid
Just came across this thread (from 2011 or so) on another forum: Japanese Prototype N Scale Desktop Layout Not sure if it's been posted here before, but an interesting read. Link to comment
kvp
It's not only t-trak like, it's using the single track t-trak standard (without the height variable legs though). Those are very beautiful modules. Link to comment
cteno4
It is actually by a JNS member Ulrich! He did a wonderful job on these! I am always showing it to folks as a very easy way to get started. The modules are super easy to construct (much easier than standard ttrak boxes), look better and are more versatile (just flip them to do a depression scene). He has a thread here http://www.jnsforum.com/community/topic/4166-the-beginnings-of-a-desktop-layout/ And wrote a great article on it for the jrm website http://www.japanrailmodelers.org/pages/modelingjapan/minimodules.html It's based on this article http://space.geocities.jp/popoya2008/menu.html Cheers, Jeff 1 Link to comment
