miyakoji
Philly needs a bit of holiday cheer. As far as I know, the operators pay out of their own pockets to do this. You can see it on some buses as well. philly.com has an article here: http://www.philly.com/philly/business/20151224_ThisChristmas_trolley_in_West_Philadelphia_gives_passengers_smiles_and_holiday_cheer.html local railfans provide some visuals: Edited December 24, 2015 by miyakoji 2 Link to comment
Guest keio6000
Given that anything associated with septa results in hundreds of exaggerated lawsuits, im surprised they allowed this. Fingers crossed kato will make a septa acs64 tho :) 1 Link to comment
1954G
Philly.com has an article here: http://www.philly.com/philly/business/20151224_ThisChristmas_trolley_in_West_Philadelphia_gives_passengers_smiles_and_holiday_cheer.html Definitely worth reading the article. Really cool how the operator has made this a 20+ year tradition, and it's also nice to know that his passengers appreciate the effort. Also, I feel a little embarrassed for not having heard about the Christmas trolley until now even though I lived in Philly while attending college. Link to comment
