Sacto1985
A YouTube user filmed early in 2015 a trip on the Sangi Railway Sangi Line from Kintetsu-Tomida to Nishi-Fujiwara Stations: This line was originally built to transport cement, but is now a fairly significant commuter line. The video is shot from a 751 Series three-car EMU, which was formerly a Seibu Railway 101 Series EMU. 2 Link to comment
miyakoji
Thanks. Nice big windshield makes for a great video :). Also, clear winter skies and at the beginning a side-by-side comparison between 1067mm and 1435mm track. Link to comment
Sacto1985
It's interesting to compare this line with the Sangi Railway-owned Hokusei Line, which is the longest 762 mm gauge line still in wide usage: I believe this line still has a good amount of commuter traffic and has become a favorite railfans in Japan and outside the country, too.
