Kato HO Yo8000 lighting?

I recently found a clean used 1-805 Yo8000. The end markers appear to work (I need to troubleshoot one end) but I'm wondering if Kato does a DCC decoder for lighting these. There's something that looks like an optional decoder on the instruction sheet but no part numbers are shown.

 

Before I dig in with a serious search, does anyone know whether this is the case?

That's the model, but I'm referring to the markers - not the interior lighting.

I think you'll need the Kato cab car decoder as the two pairs of tail lights essentially work the same as two headlights wired in reverse of a head/tail light pair on a single ended cab car.

Can you show us the inside?

 

Its HO so theres plenty of room to do electrical work.

 

Cabooses became the rolling camper for the crew. You could furnish it as a flat.
