Watched it live with mates. Which was an interesting experience as they're not railfans but are interested in Japan (having had multiple JDM import cars).

 

Did manage to stifle the urge to say "ooh, I've got one of those in N!" too often...

Managed to catch this episode last night on Freeview channel "CHOICE" in New Zealand. My wife was skipping through the channels info earlier in the evening and I happened to be  glancing up while on laptop. She actually watched half of it which surprised me! Very enjoyable, although I would have liked it if they had made it longer and more in depth and put it in several episodes. Interesting meeting with the designer/ developer  of the newer Shinkansen noses and the reason for them.
