utrainia
Found this completely by accident while browing Al Jazeera today. A fascinating documentary covering some of the more offbeat parts of Japan's railway culture. And for the Tama fans: lots of Tama coverage :) http://www.aljazeera.com/programmes/aljazeeracorrespondent/2015/08/rails-journey-japan-150818090224115.html 4 Link to comment

cteno4
Very nice video! Nice shooting and editing and not too much host personality you seem to get drenched in now days. Also kept to the content w.o artificial drama and intrigue that is again a must these days for documentary content! Thanks Jeff Link to comment
katoftw
I enjoyed it. A different view on things that you would normally find. The whole show was on a very personal level, and went much deeper than most other shows. The Dr Yellow gag was funny. And interesting to see the SL Ginga at the end. Interesting to see things from a non-tourist type feel. The school kids at the start of the show were funny. Where was the temple he visited? I heard Koya in there somewhere, but I assumed Enryakuji (or close by) due to the cable cars. Edited October 7, 2015 by katoftw Link to comment
SuRoNeFu 25-501
I saved the video for my offline watching in my PC, and yes it is definitely very good. This is one of the best railroad-themed documentary show that I've ever saw in my life. Note: I'm very happy that Nozuki-san of Super Bell'z is also featured in the show (^^)v Link to comment
