Trouble in installing EM13 in Kato E4 MAX

The decoder works well in the E231-500 but it has no response after i installed it in the E4 max

 

Could anyone please help me to solve this problem??

First try it in its original place to see if it still works. Then check the orientation and end position and try to avoid installing it wrong side up or inserting it halfway only. Third common problem is dirty pickups or contact problems, so it's a good idea to check if the car works in analog.
