Darklighter
Welcome to the forum. Looks great so far! Please keep in mind that Japan drives on the left. ;) Link to comment
Marcin
Hello. On the plan is painted so that, becuse meetings in Poland drives on the right. Normally I want drive on the left. This allows the bus to four cables underneath. I can also connect the loop , because the main lanes are not connected . Link to comment
cteno4
Welcome Marcin! Looks like lots of fun. Interesting you have a fremo club, nice that things can be more flexible. Those are nice sized modules, just big enough to get a good chunk of scenery, but small enough to handle, transport and store easily. Does your group have any photos of their fremo setups on the web anywhere? Don't get to see fremo that much. Glad you found us, it will be great to watch the project progress. Cheers, Jeff Link to comment
kvp
Welcome! What i've seen about your club is really impressive, so i'm sure your japanese layout will be great too. You should add some galleries and links to show what you and your club have built. ps: You can add signals for both direction running or just make them movable (with plugs), so you can change the direction depending on the running directions of each meeting or your home setup. cteno4
Marcin, No worries at all on your English! Thank you for being able to do English, I don't know any polish at all unfortunately, so you are way, way ahead of me with a second language. Looking forward to your progress on the modules. Take a look at mrp's thread on the signals he is making as he is doing the plugs on the base of his signals like mvp mentioned. http://www.jnsforum.com/community/topic/9224-signal-project/?p=103102 Cheers Jeff Link to comment

Fremo is bigest organisation in Europe(world?) Of model train. They make a rules od modules(profiles, electric, track etc) and everybody who do in the same rules can join to other layout. My club is smaller and they love Americans railroad. I em only one who loves Japan... Some pictures of last expo in Piotrkow Trybunalski(Poland). The last 3 photos are My old layout - container terminal "Stara Wieś"(Old Village). Not copleted. Edited August 26, 2015 by Marcin 3 Link to comment
cteno4
Nice! Here in the U.S. It's almost all Ntrak and lots of it (Ttrak is gaining more and more momentum lately as well), just a little fremo here and there. The fremo here does tend to be a bit more thought out and give nicer overall presentations than Ntrak in booth scenery and layout as the system allows for more flexability and everything doesn't look the same (those three tracks get old to me fast). We have thought from time to time doing it for our club, but not gotten going enough on it yet. Jeff Link to comment

splifdfx
Thanks for the update Marcin. Could you explain a bit more what's happening under the board with all those wires ? Link to comment
Marcin
I`ll try :) I have two electric buses. Two yellow and two blue cables. Right side of the tracks is connected to the upper pair of cables and the left side of the track is connected to the lower pair of cables. The main circuits are not connected . Such a solution allows all possible combinations of positions of electric rails. At the meeting FREMO needs a positive electrical pole (+) in all the righteous rails so I can changing cables at the ends of the modules. In house I wants to insert a loop at the end, so I need a positive electrical pole on the rails outside . This small chip at the bottom is the servo controller . It is cheap ( 6 euros ) and allows you to adjust the tilt and speed servo . Link to comment
kvp
So at meetings all rails will be on the same polarity, while at home you split the modules electrically and make a folded dogbone without reversing circuits. This is a good idea. 1 Link to comment
Marcin
Hello. Large pogres at my station :) "Kato Platforms Island"(Kato 20-806) modified to fit "Overhead Transit Station Expansion "(Kato 23-123). A little cut was in the roof , but I'm happy with the result :) Link to comment
