trainsforever8
Hey guys, today I got the chance to catch our new métro trains MPM-10, also known as Azur being tested during the day. Those trains are being built by a consortium of Bombardier and Alstom. Here's the video: Edited August 26, 2015 by trainsforever8 Link to comment
ozman2009
How many cars were in that train? I lost count, but there seemed to be more than eight. Link to comment
bikkuri bahn
Nine-car consists. *by sheer coincidence, there is a Czech model kit maker named MPM, with a sub-brand called Azur. Link to comment
trainsforever8
The train has 9 cars! That's quite interesting haha. MPM-10 stands for "Matériel Pneumatique pour Montréal commandé en 2010" (Rubber wheeled rolling stock for Montreal ordered in 2010) Link to comment
trainsforever8
Update! The new MPM-10 trains have entered in service yesterday! Here's a video of the ride between two stations Côte-Sainte-Catherine and Plamondon. 1 Link to comment
Socimi
The train itself looks good but the rear and front ends are horrible. The thing that worsens them is the headlight. Link to comment

I agree, the front design isn't my cup of tea. In fact, there were three designs that were voted by the public and that was the one I didn't want to win loll.. oh well. But inside the trains are really nice. Next time I catch it, I'll try filming the passenger information screen. 1 Link to comment
