wintimtim
Thank you Nick. Is there something similar available which I could change to look close ? Thanks, Tim Link to comment
kvp
You could have a look at various greenmax kits that have a similar front and side, maybe by combining two kits. Then you only have to add the low platform doors with styrene, maybe by extending the japanese style high platform doors of the kits. For power, i would suggest a tomytec motor. 1 Link to comment

Ochanomizu
Hello Mr wintimtim, Please allow me to provide some assistance with your search about the Kinki DMU in Peru. These trains were made for export and transported in kit form to Lima, Peru. They were then transported overland to Cusco, where they were assembled. A number of the vehicles are still in operation. You can read more about it here: http://www.nishikawatravel.com/t_perurail.htm I believe they were based on the Kiha 10 DMU, which you can read about here: https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%9B%BD%E9%89%84%E3%82%AD%E3%83%8F10%E7%B3%BB%E6%B0%97%E5%8B%95%E8%BB%8A 2 Link to comment
wintimtim
Thank you Ochanomizu for the links and the information. Yes, not that long ago they changed the gauge from narrow to normal on the remaining DMUs. That's the one I would like to build. Thank you, Tim 1 Link to comment
