I run very late steam era JNR with a focus on Hokkaido.  I think that the Koki 50,000 series flat car is from 1971 but do the containers also date from pre the end of 1975 and thus the steam era?

Grey bogies.  Not even close to JNR era.  Koki 50000s with black bogies are the originals.  In more modern times the grey bogies were fitted to increase max speed.

 

Tomix do a few Koki 50000s with black bogies.  I have all my Koki 50000s converted to grey bogies due to me modelling a modern era.  If you go the Tomix route, you have have the black bogies if you wish for the cost of postage.
