ARUNine C class tank locomotive

Last year Aru Nine issued a B class 0-4-0 tank loco and there is a construction guide on http://www5a.biglobe.ne.jp/~toyoyasu/

 

According to his site there will be an 0-6-0 tank version to be issued in July 2015. As ARU Nine can be ordered from Model Train Plus does anyone know when orders can be placed.

Ask Nariichi san, sure he can find out. I kept looking at that 040 and should have gotten one, maybe the 060!

I have received a reply from Nariichi san that A1045 is available to order for 12690 Yen. So if you are interested please contact Model Train Plus. 

 

The C class is a 0-6-0T which was common as an industrial locomotive.

The kit is similar to the B Class issued last year with a virtually ready to run chassis white metal boiler and etched brass tanks cab sides bunker and roof.

This kit has a lot of potential...with the right paint and details (buffers) it could easily pass for a British colliery shunter/light railway locomotive. With the square window kit (300yen extra), buffers, air pump, air tank and some green paint it would esily pass muster as a French Înteret Local locomotive...
