Model shop in Tokyo

I am visiting Japan in October and will spend my last 8 nights in Tokyo.

Could anyone recommend a good model shop in Tokyo?

I am a beginner and plan to buy one of the KATO starter sets and maybe some extra track.

Last time I was there, I paid a visit to Tam Tam in Akihabara. Easy(ish!) to locate, with plenty of variety...

I visited a few last October.  The Kato shop and the TamTam in Akihabara were by far the best of the bunch.  Kato for their displays and availability of products.  Good to browse and get hands on with products.  Prices not so good though.  TamTam is awesomely priced.  But they only carry the popular mainstream stuff.  But their pricing is wonderful.  And they do have a massive selection to choose from.
