not inexpensive, but look nicely detailed from the pictures and some interesting buildings. Its unfortunate they don't seem to do reruns much of some of their other buildings as a few of those were unique. the beauty of lasercut stuff is you should be able to do another production run pretty easily and packaging is minimal!

Jeff, I think your first link should be this one: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10326616 .  Cool models.  That one definitely speaks to me, I spent a fair amount of time waiting around in places like that for one-car DMUs.

Yep on my first trip to Japan I did a few how far out into the boonies I could go day trips, riding smaller and smaller trains and you are spot on, these were the simple waiting rooms out there (well a few were a wall a bench and a tiny bit of roof next to a rice paddy!)

Amagi Modelling kits.. Have been looking at them for sometime on HS. Looks very detailed for a paper structure! I was very much on the verge of buying their local bus station, but I fear my poor modelling skills wll do injustice to the paper kit....

 

However, that 'Ghost' station looks good and can be easily passed off as a local bus depot. Might wanna try this one out for starters.

 

P.S. Why is it called a 'Ghost' station? I was expecting an anime-related train station with ghosts just from the title alone!  :P

Haha so I learnt a new phase, un-manned = ghost!  :P

 

Nonetheless I kinda like this structure the more I look at it... Are these difficult to build? I have built Sankei ones before and my poor skill really did injustice to the structure...
