velotrain
While watching several Ted Polet shot videos, I noticed that the thumbnail for the Rijswijk show in January showed Sutton Wharf. This exhibition layout was built by Christopher Payne, a hero of mine, so I decided to watch it. Sutton Wharf is the third layout in, and as I recall Christopher usually builds to 1:35 scale, which means his 16.5" track represents a gauge of 2'. There are several other very well done layouts in this video, and I haven't even come across Part 2 yet. Expo N-G Swanley also has some fine layouts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOs7NwG1Neo Link to comment
Densha
Ha, the Rijswijk show. Haven't been there for years, even though it's just 30 minutes by bike from here. Every year there were just the same layouts as the previous years so I stopped going at some point. These layouts look pretty nice though, haven't seen them before I think. Link to comment
