In fact, the jet engines are a nacelle from an old B-52 B-47 B-36! Turns out the whole thing was too tall for the tunnels in the area it was meant to be used in, something the designers learned the hard way, as I recall…

I am really conflicted in my opinion about this 'thing'.  It looks very toy like and at the same time pretty interesting looking.
