Rail Announcement
Has any withdrawn Japanese rolling stock been used for such a purpose? I suppose it's one way to preserve old trains! http://railannouncement.zenfolio.com/blog/2015/5/district-line-carriage-could-become-a-classroom A former District line carriage may be converted into a classroom at Burleigh Primary School in Cheshunt following the school's application for planning permission to install the vehicle next to a building for use as a small classroom. Access will be via a small shed like structure located at one end of the carriage. The idea came about as a result of one of the school's governors working for London transport. It is hoped that the carriage can be installed at the school this summer. Edited May 18, 2015 by Rail Announcement Link to comment
