My girlfriend and I rode in the front of one of these during a London visit way back in 1988, at the end of a 2-week cycling sampler of the U.K. - Cotswalds, Lake District, and the Great Loch (Fort William - Inverness, including a BR "Day's Out" steam train / ferry /bus excursion to Mallaig and Skye ).  She wanted to know where the driver was, and became visibly nervous when I told her there wasn't one.

The problem with this announcements is there is no pictures, no reference links, no real info.  If you have never heard of something in within content, then google become more useful in relaying info than these announcements.

It's a private blog that gets (auto) posted on multiple forums. It doesn't have to provide any information. A source link would be nice though. (or at least a footnote about the origin of the posted information)
