This would be an awesome scene to model, if you had the skill (and patience) to pull it off. Let's see . . . you could narrow the Tomix truss bridge to single track and repaint it. kvp Posted May 2, 2015 Share Posted May 2, 2015 Actuallly the passenger cars are part of a 2 section tram (they even have a plug in walkaround controller for shunting) and the diesel engine can be turned off so the whole train functions as a catenary diesel electric hybrid. The original locomotive is displayed statically at one of the stops. Kato makes a good enough replica in its pocket line that can be upgraded a bit to look better. The bridge on the photo is afaik sold by Greenmax in a glue together kit. The hard part imho is the vegetation and the water. It says a lot about the city that they are willing to support something like that to reflect tradition. I like the "in track" turntable, and the 0-5-0 moving the coaches. It was confusing on the return trip, as they kept changing between the two short coaches and one longer one. Apparently shot at different times and edited. Also very attractive white wooden station. I'm impressed by the large paving stones on the street track - reminds me of the tram yard at Kochi. Link to comment
