  1. There was a Shikoku travel thread recently by @Tony Galiani and this particular line came up in a thread by @tridentalx. Very rural, somewhat long distances between stations, and impressive views of the countryside and Shimanto River. Halfway between Utsuigawa and Tosa-Taisho it looks like there's a walking path to the left of the track, slightly up the hillside. Not sure if this is public, maintained, or anything but my imagination but it looks like it would be cool for an adventurous stroll. Tosa-Taisho and Chikanaga look like they were once larger operations, perhaps long JNR express DMU formations passed there. Also maybe cool subjects for modelling. I created this account 15 years ago today. Pretty wild. It is always nice chatting with you folks. I hope we are still at it in another 15.

  3. This is a video recorded along the Seto inland sea of the electrified section on the Yosan Line, I think somewhere between Takamatsu and Tadotsu considering the Shiokaze and Ishizuchi is coupled although I can't find the exact location: This video is recorded in and around Shimonada station and at some neighbouring stations on the non-electrified section of the Yosan Line, also along the Seto inland sea:
