How does it run? That packaging looks ancient.

It's a 20 year old model, unless it was from a rerelease, the newer version 9115 came out about 10 years ago

No Sammy order would be complete if there wasn't any buses in it.

I doubt it's the sellers who collect any domestic taxes but rather luck/bad luck when the parcel arrives at the destination airport. I've had parcels from ZenMarket, HS, AmiAmi, Mandarake, RG-R and HLJ slapped with GST but I've also had parcels from all of them slip through.

With products sold to Australia stores that have a volumne of greater than $60,000.00 AUD Per Annum have to collect the GST and pass it on, smaller retailers such as MTP and RGR slip under the radar on that front, with AmiAmi and Hobbysearch given the diversity of products they sell the sales to Australia are quite high, especially when you look at figurines and model kits such as Gundam, my kids sometimes jump into my orders for figurines.

By my reckoning I'm overdue a surprise lighting installation, so with no further ado:

Kato 101 series (Chuo Line) by Rail Squid, on Flickr

Shock, horror, having examined all 10 cars in the set, I was sorely disappointed to find one car does not in fact contain a light bar.  This is unacceptable and I will be speaking to the manager and demanding compensation for the emotional trauma. 😄

Well, the package that was very slow to get on a slow boat finally arrived!  Last year I pre-ordered some September releases with AmiAmi when there was still hope that SAL might resume by the end of the summer.  They eventually started doing some surface small parcel, but I guess this package was too big for that.  It finally got on a boat that landed on 13 March, and 11 days later finally wended its way across the country by USPS land-boat.

We are thrilled with the truck diorama collection!  The cute little forklifts come with drivers, and there are 9 different standing workers.
Also got a mecha to use for gaming.

So I've pre-orderes my Toyota Longpass Express.  12 tomix 105s and enough Hogarakadou Toyota containers to fill them.  Anyone know how often Hogarakadou hits their target release dates?

Very nice!. It looks like the book-case is blue too.

What's the 4+4?

As far as i can see, 8 car set is numbered  as unit 1, the 4 car base +4 car add on set is numbered as unit 2 and i assume green sleeve bookcase.

Wow yours came quick. Mine is currently with Sagawa on its way!

Base 4 car set plus addon 4 car set for RS2 formation. Only two sets in service for the Saphir Odoriko for now. It's easy to get the whole fleet.

Do both trains run together joined? Wikipedia seems to imply that they run separately.

More reason to get both sets. You can model the scene of them connected for delivery with EF65 2127/2196 +3+3  or  EF65 2060 +5+5.

They don't. But you can always get more sets.😉

Gavino now knows. He bought a second E259 set. Little did he know he would soon do it for other trains in his collection.

When possible, I always like to have a second (or third) of the same train to run them parallel to each others. That is, if I can have different running numbers. Even if they are not readable, it irks me to run similarly numbered trains together.

If you are going to do do it the right way....

Uh oh, I’m back to browsing for trains again - not looking for anything in particular, just something the looks good to me but I am more selective nowadays. 😁 Got this beautiful set that resembles the Keikyu DEHA 268 that I got from Kato Hobby Center.

Actually after looking at them more closely, they're the same.  The 268 has a glossy finish while the set is dull and the roof color is darker.  In the set, the are 2 cars that are numbered 264 and 266 and the couplers are compatible thank goodness.
