Tomix 3222 bridge disassembly?

I've bought three of these long curved-chord truss bridges to try to model the Inuyama Bridge when it was mixed use.

 

I'm going to need to do a lot of surgery, and wondered if anyone has taken one of these apart?

 

The top and sides are obviously one casting.  I'm guessing the two screws on the bottom will release the track sections.  I find it interesting that the bridge has railings but no sidewalk, and it looks like these pieces can be pried off.

 

My major concern is not knowing what - if any - adhesive is used during assembly, and I don't want to break anything by using excessive force.
