Kato engine shed

Hi guys, have built a kato diesel shed and made it with the larger central section between the doors, I bought a unitram 40-021 street track conversion track to run tracks into the shed, however they still arent far enough apart to enter the shed, how can I get the right trackage to fit?

Any ideas?

Maybe post a pic? I sort of understand what you're trying to say, but it's a bit vague in only words. As they say: a picture tells more than 1000 words. ;)

Mudkip Orange

Two R481's will result in 33mm spacing, the same as your conversion track.

The way you assembled the shed, you need 49.5mm spacing. This is obtained by using two R718 curves. The simplest way to do that is to have a "#6" switch and then a 718 that drops back off it.

If you want to go from single track to 49.5mm spacing Mudkip is right. But if you want to go from Unitrack spacing to 33mm spacing you need the two R481's. I don't know if you have a Unitrack layout or not.

You can use:-

#6 turnout + R718-15 curve

#4 turnout + S64 + R481-15 curve

Wye turnout + R249-15 curve + R249-15 curve

All will give you 49.5mm track spacing.
