Venetian Canals in Tokyo

Would you expect to find Venetian Canals in the heart of Tokyo? This is near Jiyugaoka on the Tokyu Toyoko and Oimachi lines.

I was talking about Japanland, not the United States of Murikka. I'm talking about Enka, cars with too much classic UK-style chrome adornments and  Kokeshi.

 

Have some Yoshi Ikuzo for more indulging in Japanese kitsch.

 

 

P.s. Maybe, as a Japanologist, I tend to look at these cultural phenomenon with different eyes than the regular person.
