Waterfalls

Recommended Posts

Well I believe in experimenting and this what I decided to do with a waterfall (or rapid stream) I first tried WS water effects and initially it looked great but I for got you either have to making it first on teflon or wax paper. I applied it directly to the scene. Looked great the first day, disappeared the second.  ???

I found out that if I was going to apply it directly I need to use Realist water first then apply the Water Effects on top of it. The WS Realistic water didn't hold and ran to the lake at the bottom.

My LHS guy told me he uses Silicone that you use to repair fish tanks and get it at Lowes or Home Depot in a large tube for about $4.00 USD.

Well here is a photo of the first test. I applied it and spread it around. I will try adding WS water effects on top and see how paint hold to it. It it fails, I can just peel it off.

It's a bit cloudy, isn't it. How clear is the Water Effects? Will this cloudiness show through do you think?
