Looks like a new company is coming out. Their models are not powered but you can buy a motor kit from them or i guess a tomix/bandai one and going by the coments in there some where it looks like they may support power from the pantograph.

Would be interested to see if anyone who knows proper japnese can confirm this?

They are planning to sell a separate motor/powered bogie/pantograph set in the future, a la Tomytec.  I don't think the pantographs will be pickup types, just more to scale as a replacement for those horrid plastic blobs.
