watercolor pencil weathering

Recommended Posts

just ran across a weathering technique ive not seen before using watercolor pencils. the pencils are soaked in windex and a bit of the pigment comes off easily then for making weathering marks. swabbing with a qtip soaked in windex can allow you to easily blend or erase anything. i like weathering powders, but they are harder to do really nice hard stains with or get more watery stain blends with. great technique to use with powders and looks like a great technique to add to the arsenal!
