Saw this last weekend in the shopping area next to Togoshikoen Station, Oimachi Line.. My wife says it's a way to encourage people to use the coupons given by local retailers by the end of the month.

Black and white sign says Shinagawa Ward Shopping Area.

There was a bubble machine to make bubbles.

I'd like to see Jeff make an N scale bubble machine. 

 

ok ill work on that. of course if you cant see them thats just your bad eyes, they would be about 1/100" in diameter!

 

i think they would not float in air at all as the smaller the size of the bubble the larger the ratio of surface area (heavy soap film) to volume goes way up and thus you have less light air in the center to float the bubble. i suppose i could use helium or hydrogen gas to try to get them to float...
