Guest ___ Posted January 5, 2009 Share Posted January 5, 2009 One of my hobbies is following the advancement of Japanese AI robot systems. (I love PaPeRo) The first American (N. American) version was build by a 34 year old engineer from Toronto. He's single, and lives with his parents. (ah, a kindred spirit.) He was so busy working he had no time for a real gf so he built one. Of course for all the time he spent building one, he could have just gone to Japan and found a real one. (girl not robot) A-ko (The name is a joke from an old Anime by the name Project A-ko) is not as advanced as Akiba, but still not bad for a guy in his parents basement. (Puts me to shame!
