Decals locations for old style Kato platforms?

Hi! I'm working on a set of the old style Kato platforms, and I've come across a little problem with the decals along the platform edge. The diagrams are very vague, only showing partial placement.

 

There are the yellow stripes for the platform edge, dotted white strips, and "lane marking" strips, presumably for lining up with the car doors. All I can tell is that all of these are supposed to go along the platform edge, but with little indication of spacing or overlap.

 

Does anyone have photos of an accurately completed platform (23-100/23-101 set), or some advice on how to lay these out?
