Charles Small visited this railway in "Rails to the Setting Sun". The locomotive is (I believe) one of Rumoi's 2 exx-Kyushu Railway, ex-JGR Krauss 0-4-0Ts. The resemblance of the building to American practice is uncanny, although quite expected... Cheers NB 1 Link to comment
