New HO modular building system

GC laser has a new modular building system (currently only in HO, but i could see this coming to N) that utilizes internal cubes you assemble from laser cut parts. arrange the cubes into the structure shape you want, then you hang modular walls on these.

 

sort of like the dpm and walthers wall systems, but those focused on walls and supporting them with the joints.

 

doing the laser cutting is great on this as you can easily create a whole slew of modifications to wall textures, door, window placement, etc and its a snap to do the CAD and prototype with the cutter. lots of great textures you can create with the laser cutter. then they can just produce on demand or with a small inventory so really low startup costs (of course you have to have the lasercutter!)
