So what went down to render all the early posts done by "guests"?

Nothing to tell really... just that some accounts got corrupted in the early versions of this software and had to be re-set up again.

A idea. What would happen if someone canceled their account what would happen to their posts?

Also, how do people post as guests?

Currently, the settings are that, once you delete your account, your posts remain. They will be attributed to a guest going by your old screen name. That's why the posts by some of the original users appear to have been posted by guests: When their accounts were corrupted, we just deleted them :D
